Meet Ali Lauren Spizman
Fashion Designer * Author * National Teen Volunteer Ambassador
 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America

2005HeadShot303Eighteen-year-old Ali Lauren Spizman is a dedicated community volunteer and the teenage fashion designer of The Handbag of Hope™, an innovative new line of cause-related handbags and accompanying accessories, which will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America ® to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Her handbag line was launched in spring of 2005 along with her second book titled The Power of a Wish in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America®.

Dedicated to making a difference, Ali is a national volunteer teen ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America®. Since she was young, Ali’s goal has been to spread kindness and make a difference while encouraging others to do the same. She has performed workshops for The Girl Scouts and is the award-winning author of The Thank You Book for Kids. Ali has been featured by Time Magazine for Kids, Southern Living, CNN, Good Day Atlanta, Newsday Charlotte Observer, Boston Herald, Chicago Tribune, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Woman's Day,American Girl, Cosmo Girl, Elle Girl, Atlanta Parent, and other major media outlets. Her book was recommended by USA Today and mentioned on
NBC's Today.

Ali has charmed audiences for a decade with her modeling, acting, and television appearances thanks to her enthusiastic personality and sheer love of life. She has appeared extensively in commercials and print ads for leading department stores, children's museums and on billboards across the country. In 1997, Ali was cast as one of six children known as the "Cartoon Gang" on The Cartoon Network, a segment that aired daily on more than twenty networks worldwide.

Ali is an avid volleyball player, and competed in the Junior Olympics in Houston in 2004. Every birthday since she was four, Ali has chosen to donate clothes and toys to children living in homeless shelters in her native Atlanta. Her goal is to spread kindness and make a difference while encouraging others to do the same. A former cheerleader and member of her school’s student council, she resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her family and graduated high school in 2005. Ali will attend Indiana University in the fall.
