A LETTER FROM ALI!
Dear Everyone:
To help spread thank yous,
I hope you will join me in the Thank You Kids Campaign. The purpose of this project is to brighten the lives of others by giving out blank greeting cards and stationary to anyone who might need it. These cards will offer someone the opportunity to say thank you to someone else, send their thoughts, extend a happy birthday or simply share their feelings of gratitude.
The Thank You Kids Campaign will help spread kindness, and make it possible for everyone, including those in need, to express their feelings. A greeting card can be a priceless gift, especially for someone who is homeless or ill or can't get out to buy one. Since words are free and fabulous, your cards can make a difference helping someone let their loved ones know they are thinking of them.
I hope you will join me in spreading thank you kindness around the world. All you have to do is create or purchase some greeting cards. I bet you have some on hand right now that you never used. Leave them blank and ask an adult to help you drop them off to give to people who are in need. I like to leave cards at homeless shelters, hospitals and homes for the aged. You can tie them up in ribbons and add a brand new pen. Or, try my Shoebox-To-Do-Box idea! It's fun to transform a shoebox into a stationary kit and fill it with pens, stamps, a few greeting cards, paper and envelopes. Stamped envelopes are especially helpful to someone who has to stay in bed and can't get out. Plus, if you know someone who canšt write or see, you could help with the writing.
The Thank You Kids Campaign is something we can all do together to make a difference. I hope you will join me and be sure to let me know how you're doing. Your contribution will not only put a smile on someone's face, but will make you feel good, too. A little thank you can go a long, long way.
So, keep up the great work and thank you for helping me spread a little kindness in your corner of the world.
Happiness and peace always, Ali Spizman.
